This was a good start for inventors to explore the transformation of images into electronic signals. The concept of electromechanical television was introduced for the first time in 1884, by a German student, Paul Nipkow. He transmitted images using a new technology, a rotating metal disk technology. The word television was introduced in 1900, in Paris, by a Russian called Constantin Perskyi. In 1928 mechanical television was introduced in USA, followed by Germany and United Kingdom in the next year. In France the mechanical television was established in 1931. In 1935 Mexico started new experiments in this area. The electronic television was launched for the first time in 1936 in Germany and in 1937 in France. Japan, Italy and Poland introduced this form of television in 1939. At the begging, television broadcasters were available only in metropolitan areas, such as Berlin, Moscow, London, New York and others. There were few people with TV sets at home. Sometimes, little countries received broadcast services from the bordered biggest countries. The first experiments regarding color television broadcast began in 1920s. In the next years, many researches in this area were made in the whole world. In 1953, United States passed from black and white to color television.
